S.M.A.R.T. HOUSE

NEIGHBORHOOD ADVISORY COMMITTEE APPLICATION

The S.M.A.R.T. program addresses an ongoing challenge of the criminal justice system: low-level misdemeanor offenders who cycle through the system without access to services, coordination of care, or meaningful incentives to engage with social service providers. S.M.A.R.T. provides misdemeanor offenders with substance abuse treatment, housing, comprehensive case management, and supportive services.

For more information about S.M.A.R.T., please refer to the City Attorney’s website:

Community input is critical to the success of the S.M.A.R.T. House. The City Attorney’s Office invites interested community members to be part of a Neighborhood Advisory Committee that will meet regularly to discuss S.M.A.R.T. House operations. If you are interested in serving as an Advisory Council member, please complete this online application.

If you should have any questions, please contact our office: (619) 533-5500, ask for a supervisor in the Neighborhood Justice and Collaborative Courts Unit.
