Important: Requirements and Disclosures for Enhanced, Guaranteed Next-Day, and Before or After-Hours Virtual Inspections
Before completing the application, please review the following requirements and disclosures carefully:
- Individual Inspections Requests - Each inspection under a permit requires a separate Form DS-167. Requests for multiple inspections on a single form will not be accepted.
- Cut-off Time for Next-Day Inspection Requests - Requests for guaranteed next-day inspections must be submitted by 12 p.m. (noon) on the business day prior to the requested inspection date. Late submissions will not be processed.
- Enhanced Inspections - Enhanced inspections are subject to inspector availability. If an inspector is available, an invoice will be generated and must be paid online before the inspection is performed.
- Fee Notification - Fees for Enhanced Inspections and Guaranteed Next-Day Inspections are non-refundable.
- Cancellations - To cancel a scheduled enhanced inspection, reply to the confirmation email. Inspection fees are non-refundable. However, inspections may be rescheduled before 12 p.m. (noon) the business day prior. For any canceled inspection not meeting this deadline, fees will not be refunded or credited for a future inspection.
- Virtual Inspections - Virtual inspections use remote technology and are self-scheduled if conducted during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.) at no additional charge. Use this form to request a virtual inspection outside of regular business days. For details on the types of inspections eligible for virtual inspections, refer to Information Bulletin 120.
