Join SDPD recruiters and other candidates for an active morning learning all about the San Diego Police Department and the physical needs for the academy. All attendees must be 18 years or older to participate.
What to expect at Open CAMP:
- Brief introduction to the Candidate Assistance Mentoring Program.
- Insight into the hiring process.
- Meet background investigators.
- Workout with recruiters.
- Work side by side with applicants currently in the latter stages of the hiring process.
- Workouts are designed to prepare candidates for the physical and mental rigors of the police academy.
- Encouragement to use your strengths to help each other.
DATE: Open CAMP takes place the first Saturday of each month. Please select a date below to sign up.
TIME: 7 - 9 a.m. (Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m.)
LOCATION: 222 Marina Park Way, San Diego, CA 92101
Parking will be located in the rear parking lot next to the basketball court.
ATTIRE:
Shorts or loose-fitting clothes that do not restrict arm and leg movements. Footwear should be comfortable athletic shoes with a gripping rubber sole.
Bring a hydration source (w/electrolytes if possible).
